Question by bibberbunch: Using a nebulizer without having medicine?
My dtr is susceptible to bronchitis, but is not asthmatic. No matter what illness she has, it usually settles in her chest before it runs its program. (My nephew is asthmatic.) My mother is convinced I must buy a nebulizer, like his, but just use water or saline to assist her out when she has a horrible cough attack. (I tried the steam, but the heat is unpleasant.) Is this doable? Safe?
